Acupuncture is the core of Sadanan. Cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, electrical stimulation and Chinese herbal medicine sit around it, used alone or combined after a proper look at what you have come in with.

Glass cups are placed on the skin with suction to ease muscle tension, reduce pain and improve circulation. The clinic uses it for neck pain, migraines and stress-related conditions. A session is about 15–20 minutes. Temporary circular marks can appear and usually fade within 3–7 days.

A warming therapy. Gentle heat from burning mugwort (moxa) is applied near specific acupuncture points to stimulate circulation, strengthen immunity and relieve pain, including cold-related pain.

Formulas are chosen to address root patterns rather than a symptom on its own. They are used to support digestion, hormonal balance and immunity, and for longer-standing internal conditions. Dr. Mai’s practice centres on herbal medicine.

Gua sha

A traditional Chinese scraping therapy that improves circulation and releases muscle tension. Facial gua sha is used for lymphatic drainage and a natural lift. Body gua sha is used for neck, shoulder and back pain. Dr. Pang offers facial gua sha alongside Tuina, Chinese medical massage and adjustment.
